I love this modern folding bird house from the MOMA Store. Even though I don't really have anywhere to hang it right now, I think I might get it for when I do have a place for it, preferably right outside a window where I can see it all the time and admire it's sleek, unique design. I also think it would make a great little housewarming gift.

Every year I go in search of the perfect summer hat. This year, I think I've found some excellent choices! Now if I could just narrow it down to one. Or two. Top row: Eugenia Kim for Target, $16.99; Anthropologie, $28. Middle row: Gap, $24.50; Forever 21, $8.80. Bottom row: Top Shop, $40; Urban Outfitters, $28.

These Tribella watches from Nixon are total eye (and wrist!) candy. They are $60 each and they come in a variety of colors, but I absolutely love the mint and the white.

I found these Alberino Lanterns, $9.99, at Z Gallerie. I think they would look great indoors or outdoors. They're a creative way to use candlelight and be decorative at the same time!

I love dresses that have relatively simple fronts, but then something interesting going on in the back, like a cut-out or t-back. It's like a little surprise to people when you turn around! I found lots of choices from Urban Outfitters, starting at the top row: Reformed, $68, ByCORPUS, $48. Bottom row: BB Dakota, $68, Kimchi Blue, $58.

I love these limited edition travel screenprints from The Heads of State. I think these would look great in a set but also stand out beautifully as a single piece. Each 14x24 print is $30.

With summer just around the corner, I've been seeing a lot of nautically inspired styles popping up again. I don't think it ever really goes out of style, just evolves a little every year to fit the current trend. I love the stripes, anchor details, and crisp white boating shoes of it all! Clockwise from top right:
Urban Outfitters Anchor Ring, $12,
Nautical Tee, $28;
Fred Flare, $24; Sperry at
Zappos, $59.95;
Forever 21, $26.90.

We will be featuring several recipes here in the future, all of which will be fairly easy and definitely affordable. The first one is a lunch favorite, and literally takes 5 minutes to make. The ingredients you will need for the Goddess Veggie Wrap are:
-Whole wheat pita
-Goddess dressing
-Mixed greens
-Feta
-Sliced avocado
-Halved mini heirloom tomatoes
-Salt and pepper
-Chives
First, lay the pita out and spread a thin layer of Goddess dressing on. Next pile on the mixed greens, followed by sliced avocado, tomatoes, and feta. Sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper, then top it off with a few chive leaves, fold over and enjoy!

I love the delicate simplicity of Elephantine's jewelry. It's all handmade by Rachel Blakley, based in Seattle. Every piece is unique and dainty and beautiful. I am more of a gold girl, but her silver pieces are also so beautiful for those who prefer a silver look. My favorite pieces are simple shapes like the string of diamond tags on the Akira necklace $36 (bottom left) or the stacked gold circles on the Satellites necklace $35 (bottom right). You can see the whole collection at her online Elephantine shop.

I discovered Sandra Suy on Etsy and I instantly fell in love with her style. She's a fashion illustrator based in Barcelona and her specialty is drawing beautiful women with beautiful dresses. All of her drawings are gorgeous and full of life, yet very simple at the same time. I love the Flora (left) and Olivia (right) because of the way the single flower in each one just pops and adds a lusciousness to each image. I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of her prints! You can buy them at her Etsy shop, and you can see the rest of her work on her website, Sandra Suy.
