I'm a big fan of stripes as a decorating element so I love seeing all these great striped products for the bathroom from West Elm. I wouldn't overdue it and use all the striped items at once, but mixing and matching the striped elements with another pattern or a contrasting solid would look so great. You can find all the products above here.

There is something so serene and cool about Tom Kondrat's photo of Iceland, Abandoned Beauty. The colors are just so perfect together. I would love to see this blown up nice and big, somewhere where I could stare at it all day long.

As someone who still uses a physical calendar planner to remember all the things I need to do, I am a huge fan of these mini planners from Poketo. It's not easy to find a good looking, well designed, and compact planner and to me these are just perfect. You can find them (from top to bottom) here and here.

And we're back! After taking a month off to give the site a redesign, we're so excited to be back and we hope you'll enjoy the new look as much as we do. Now on to the pink! I love the idea of giving your space a different look by adding a pop of color, specifically pink. I think it works especially if it's just one element, like a wall or coffee table or a mantle that you can easily and inexpensively paint to give your space a fresh new look.

Todd McLellan photographs old items that are no longer in use by the masses. In his series Disassembly, these items are all taken apart and barely recognizable. I love how all the pieces are so intricate and you see the object in a different light. These two old phones above are my favorites. You can find the series in different (and affordable!) sizes on 20x200.

It’s no secret that my favorite hood in LA is my very own, Eagle Rock. Nestled between Glendale and Pasadena, Eagle Rock has grown into a lively area for pleasant strolling, good eats, and affordable shopping. The Sniveling Sibling is an Eagle Rock gem—a vintage store stuffed to the cozy brim with amazingly inexpensive unique finds. I’ve picked up many a lovely hardcover novel, random knick-knack and antique postcards from this lovely shop. The owner, Jeff, is warm and friendly—with impeccable taste I might add. The store carries everything from 1930s hunter green folding chairs to mid-century egg beaters. In a town where a fiberglass chair can cost you an arm and a leg, the Sniveling Sibling is a welcome breath of fresh, vintage-y air.

I love the little details that show you really put thought into something. These ideas from Martha Stewart Weddings are a perfect example of that and so fun! Confetti in the ceremony programs, so whimsical, and escort cards attached to a refreshing beverage - genius!
